The first day of a new job is scary for everyone, even more so if your company or team doesn't set you up for success. But how do we build an onboarding process that allows new engineers to do their best work, whether they're switching tracks from school, another company, or just another team? I'll go through ways I've seen onboarding devops folks go off the rails, and talk about how we can get things back on track.
